Anti- Spam Policy

Overseas Host is committed to keeping email and messaging sent through our network free of spam and abuse. This Anti-Spam Policy explains what’s allowed, what isn’t, and how we respond to violations. It applies to every customer, reseller, and end user of any Overseas Host service — shared hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, reseller accounts, and business email included. By using our services, you agree to this policy; if you don’t agree with it, please don’t use our services.

Last updated: July 29, 2026

1. What Counts as Spam

  • Sending unsolicited bulk or commercial email to recipients who have not explicitly opted in to receive it.
  • Using purchased, rented, harvested, or scraped email address lists.
  • Sending email through open relays, compromised accounts, or third-party servers without authorization.
  • Any messaging activity — email, contact forms, SMS — sent in bulk to recipients who did not request it.

2. Required Standards for Outbound Email

If you send commercial or bulk email through OverseasHost services, you must:

  • Use accurate, non-forged header information (From, To, Reply-To, and routing information).
  • Include a working, easy-to-use unsubscribe or opt-out mechanism in every marketing email.
  • Clearly identify yourself or your organization as the sender.
  • Honor unsubscribe requests promptly and stop emailing that address.
  • Keep records showing when and how each recipient’s consent was obtained.

4. Monitoring and Enforcement

OverseasHost reserves the right to monitor outbound mail volume and patterns on our network to detect spam and abuse. If we identify a likely violation, we may, at our discretion:

  • Throttle or temporarily suspend outbound mail on the affected account.
  • Suspend or terminate the account without a refund, consistent with our Cancellation & Refund Policy’s terms on Acceptable Use violations.
  • Report the activity to relevant blacklists, registries, or authorities where required.

Repeated or severe violations may result in permanent termination of service.

5. Reporting Spam

If you believe you’ve received unsolicited or abusive email that originated from an OverseasHost customer, please report it to support@overseashost.com or call +92-51-2716118. Include the full email headers and message content where possible — this helps us investigate faster.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Anti-Spam Policy from time to time. Changes take effect once the updated policy is posted on this page.
