What's the difference between Business Basic and Standard?

Basic gives you Exchange mailboxes plus the web and mobile Office apps. Standard adds the installable desktop versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook on up to five devices per user.

Can we keep using Outlook exactly as we do now?

Yes. Exchange Online is the same backend Outlook expects, so profiles, rules, shared mailboxes and delegated calendars all behave as they always have.

How do shared mailboxes work?

Shared mailboxes such as info@ or accounts@ are free and do not consume a licence, as long as each person accessing them has their own licensed mailbox.

Is migration from Google Workspace possible?

Yes. We run a staged migration of mail, contacts and calendars from Google Workspace into Exchange Online, then cut over MX records outside business hours.

Do we need Windows to use Microsoft 365?

No. The desktop apps run on both Windows and macOS, and everything is available on the web plus iOS and Android.
